Meet Camilla Balleny

Head of Patent Litigation

Camilla is a litigator with more than 20 years of expertise in patent and SPC litigation, both defensive and offensive. She has spent most of her career working with life science and healthcare companies and has developed a deep understanding of this industry and a passion for helping clients achieve their commercial goals.

She works with companies of all sizes to help support their products through their life cycle. From navigating freedom to operate issues before a product launch, to defending patent portfolios on blockbuster products as they reach the end of patent and SPC term, Camilla works closely with our patent attorney experts to ensure that a strategic approach to meet a client’s needs is agreed and implemented. Camilla has developed particular expertise leading strategically important projects that span multiple European jurisdictions (including UPC) and works seamlessly with global teams on such projects. Example of products where she has had this role include Revlimid® and Stelara®.
